About the Work
Love Letters to the Lost is a thirteen-track spoken word album, each piece marking a year between loss and release.
The work moves through grief not as a single event, but as an evolving presence — shifting between memory, confrontation, reflection, and acceptance. It does not seek to resolve loss, but to give it form.
Combining poetry, voice, and sound, the album creates a space where personal experience becomes shared language — where the listener is invited not only to witness, but to recognise their own relationship to absence, love, and continuation.
Rather than presenting a linear narrative, the work unfolds as a series of transmissions — moments of clarity, rupture, and quiet acknowledgement.
The album forms part of the broader body of work that will anchor the exhibition Playing Chicken With God.
